This morning we begin a series of messages on the 23rd psalm. This is a favorite passage of many people, and we hope and pray that as we look at this beautiful psalm in the weeks ahead, God will bless us all with His comforting assurance that we have Jesus, His Son, as our great shepherd.
Our Scriptural basis for the message today is the statement from the Apostle Paul. In Romans 7, verse 19, he says, "The evil which I wouldn't, that I do." Have you ever felt like that? We don't want to do evil things, but we find ourselves often doing just what we don't want to do. This morning we'll look together at what God says that will help us at this very point. It helped Paul, and it will help us too.
