As we conclude a three-sermon series this morning on the subject of eternal security, there is a question which others and perplexes many people-- both Christians and non-believers. It is the question of what is the unpardonable sin. Much confused thinking surrounds this subject, and today we shall see what the Bible teaches. Thank you for joining us this morning as we come to hear some good news-- yes, the gospel-- about the unpardonable sin.
Our Scriptural basis for the message today is the statement from the Apostle Paul. In Romans 7, verse 19, he says, "The evil which I wouldn't, that I do." Have you ever felt like that? We don't want to do evil things, but we find ourselves often doing just what we don't want to do. This morning we'll look together at what God says that will help us at this very point. It helped Paul, and it will help us too.
