Can you believe that today is already the first Sunday in December? This is what is called the season of Advent- a time of preparation on the Christian calendar when we are getting ready for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. As the sermon title implies, this is a time when people in Bible days were hoping for the fulfillment of the coming of a Redeemer.
